Discover which attacks to combine with the special

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo is the most powerful sorcerer in the modern world. In Jujutsu Shenanigans, he’s known as the Honored One, and he has a powerful moveset. His hard-hitting attacks are relatively easy to chain together—especially if you can make the most of his special move, Limitless. We’re covering everything you need to know about Gojo’s special, including what it does, how it combos with his base moves, and how to use it during Gojo’s Awakening.

What are Gojo’s Specials in JJS?

  • R: Teleport directly to opponent
  • 1 + R (Base): Perform grab + kick, then teleport and kick opponent back to ground
  • 2 + R (Base): Fire projectile, then teleport behind opponent
  • 1 + 2 + R (Base): Kick opponent into air, fire projectile, then slam enemy into ground
  • 4 + R (Base): Extend Twofold Kick for more damage
  • G + R: When Awakening meter is full, triggers a high-speed, high-damage attack
  • 1 + R (Awakening): Adds extra damage to Max Blue attack
  • 2 + R (Awakening): Boomerangs Max Red projectile & drags opponent to you

What is Gojo’s Special in JJS?

  1. Pressing R will activate Gojo’s special, Limitless. If you look at an opponent and hit R, you’ll instantly teleport to them. You can also combine Limitless with some of your attacks to create powerful variants.[1]
    • Activating Limitless uses about 6% of your Awakening meter. However, if Gojo’s Awakening is active, Limitless doesn’t decrease the meter.[2]
    • Tip: If an enemy is climbing a wall, you can teleport to them using Limitless (R) and kick them down.[3]

Base Combos Using Gojo’s Special

  1. Lapse Blue is Gojo’s 1 attack (or his move when you press the 1 key) allows you to grab the opponent and pull them to you, then kick them into the air, applying ragdoll. If you hit R right after the kick, you’ll teleport into the air and kick your opponent back down to the ground.[4]
    • This cancels ragdoll, so your opponent will be standing after they land. This gives you a chance to extend your combo with additional attacks, but it also gives your opponent an opportunity to attack you.
  2. Gojo’s 2 attack is Reversal Red, which fires an exploding projectile. If you hit R after you fire the projectile, you’ll teleport behind your opponent, giving you a chance to pull off a surprise hit.[5]
  3. Try this tech combo for extra damage. Hit your opponent with Lapse Blue (1) , then, after they fly into the air, fire Reversal Red (2). Immediately follow that with the special move to slam your opponent into the ground.[6]
    • Unlike a Lapse Blue + Limitless combo, this combo will leave the other player ragdolled, so you can’t extend it with more hits.
    • This attack counts as a guaranteed hit, which means the opponent can’t evade it.[7]
  4. Twinfold Kick is Gojo’s 4 attack. First, you do an uppercut kick on the other player, ragdolling them and tossing them into the air. Then, you do a jump kick, slamming your opponent back into the ground.[8]
    • If you hit R right after the second kick, it will extend the move slightly.

Awakening Combos Using Gojo’s Special

  1. Press the G button to activate Gojo’s Awakening, then during the animation, hit the R button to activate his special. This will trigger 0.2 Second Infinite Void. Gojo will summon his Domain Expansion for 0.2—but the sure-hit effects will leave enemies stunned for up to 7 seconds, giving you time for a powerful high-speed, three-phase attack.[9]
    • This attack will leave you with all your attacks on cooldown and your Awakening bar empty, but you’ll get a damage multiplier for every enemy you kill.
  2. When Gojo’s Awakening is active, his 1 attack is Max Blue, a ball of blue energy that draws in and attacks all nearby enemies and objects. If Max Blue flings someone into the air, you can hit R to trigger Limitless, which will do a little extra damage.[10]
    • Max Blue can only be canceled by dashes and projectiles, so it’s especially hard for enemies to counter.
  3. Max Red is Gojo’s 2 attack during his Awakening. It fires a powerful red projectile that can do up to 35 damage, depending on the range. To perform the variant, hit Max Red (2) and Limitless (R) at the exact same time—not one after the other, like with most special combos.[11]
    • If you land the Max Red + Limitless variant, the projectile will circle behind the opponent, then loop back toward you. If it hits, your opponent will be dragged to you, and you’ll perform a Black Flash for huge damage.[12]
