Can you try getting 99 lives in a level in world one?

There are a few spots where you can take a Koopa Troopa's green shell and use it to keep bounce of it to get your score up and then it gives you 1 ups until 99 but you will need to search for those spots.

No, you cannot fly in this version of the game. You can grow to average size with a mushroom, grow very large with a mega mushroom, shrink with a mini mushroom, move inside a shell with a blue Koopa shell, shoot fire with a fire flower, or be invincible with a star.
