Are you interested in Cyberpunk 2077’s majorly talented techie, Judy Álvarez? We’ll show you exactly what you need to do to win her heart! Judy gets involved in V’s journey fairly early in the game—and, after completing a few main quests, you’ll unlock a series of side-missions related to Judy herself. In this handy guide, we’ll walk you through each mission and explain which dialogue options (and actions) to choose to ensure you and Judy live (more or less) happily ever after!

Judy Romance Guide for Cyberpunk 2077: Quick Steps

  1. Make a V with the female body type and feminine voice tone.
  2. Start Judy’s questline by completing Both Sides, Now.
  3. Say “Yeah, I’ll help” during Ex-Factor and assist Judy.
  4. Complete Talkin’ ’bout a Revolution and tell Judy, “You can count on me.”
  5. Take Judy’s side in Pisces, killing the Tyger Claw bosses and thwarting Maiko’s plan.
  6. Agree to go diving with Judy in Pyramid Song and spend the night with her.
  7. Tell Judy that your connection is “The beginning of something amazing” to lock in the romance.

Requirements to Romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077

  1. The main prerequisite to unlocking Judy’s romance is your V’s gender; you must select the female body type and the feminine voice tone when creating your V. If one or both of those options isn’t selected, Judy won’t be open to a romance in Cyberpunk—and there’s no way to change V’s body type once the game begins. Then, you’ll need to complete the following Main Quests to unlock Judy’s personal quest line (which precedes the romance):[1]
    • The Information - You’ll first meet Judy in this quest, which is the beginning of a questline available after “The Ride.”
    • Automatic Love - During “Automatic Love,” it’s a good idea to be honest when you talk to Judy after getting to Lizzie’s Bar—you’ll unlock extra dialogue in the future.
    • The Space in Between - This quest begins with an optional call to Judy—but, if you’re planning to romance her, take the opportunity and call her right away.
    • Disasterpiece - “Disasterpiece” follows Judy’s mission to find and rescue Evelyn after the events of the previous mission.
    • Double Life - This is the final main mission you’ll need to complete before Judy’s personal questline begins. Your dialogue after leaving the braindance will have a small impact on future dialogue with Judy, but won’t affect the romance.
      • Note: None of the dialogue options or choices in these Main Quests will have any impact on Judy’s romance!

How to Romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077

  1. You’ll get a call from Judy 24 after finishing Double Life; she’ll ask you to come to her apartment right away. When you get there, you’ll discover Evelyn Parker’s ultimate fate. Generally, opt for dialogue choices that comfort Judy or agree to help her during this quest—there are no consequences for your choices, it’s just fitting for the romance.[2]
    • As V, you’ll have to bring Evelyn’s body to the bedroom during this quest, then complete the dialogue with Judy and leave. It’s pretty straightforward!
  2. This mission will trigger 12 in-game hours after completing Both Sides, Now—you’ll get a text from Judy, and then a phone call after another 6 in-game hours. When Judy calls you, be sure to choose the option “Yeah, I’ll help.” Then, meet up with Judy and Maiko at Clouds. Thankfully, you don’t need to worry about dialogue here; you can choose any option, and all outcomes are the same.
    • Judy will also ask V if they should kill Woodman. This choice doesn’t matter, either; you can help Judy get revenge by eliminating him or, instead, let him live.
  3. Just like Ex-Factor, you’ll get a text from Judy after 6 hours, followed by a phone call after another 6 in-game hours. Judy will ask V to come to her apartment and ask for their favorite pizza topping; select Locust Pepperoni and lots of cheese for a little approval from Judy. Meet with Judy and the Dolls, and let them talk. When it’s time for V to talk with Judy, select the following:[3]
    • “You can count on me.”
    • “Out of the question.”
    • “Forget about it. It’s passed.”
    • [Lean] “Sure, thanks.”
      • This last option involves V accepting Judy’s invite to stay the night at her place while you recover. You can decline without consequences, but if you stay, Judy will give you breakfast in the morning.
  4. Pisces will trigger after 12 in-game hours (6 hours for a text in which Judy will tell you she had a good night, then another 6 for the actual mission to begin). At Megabuilding H8, follow the waypoints to get to the penthouse; it’s up to you whether you kill the Tyger Claws along the way or not. The important part of this quest is confronting Maiko and the Tyger Claw bosses, where you’ll need to select the following options:[4]
    • “Let’s do this.”
    • “Who’re the other two?”
    • “This wasn’t the plan.” or “Do my best. Jack ’em out.”
    • “Hold on. Think you’ve gone too far.”
    • [Draw Weapon] “Let’s cut to the quick.”
    • Kill the Tyger Claws and then speak with Maiko.
    • “What?”
    • “Can’t know that for sure.” or “You tried to cheat us all.”
      • Basically, taking Judy’s side is key. If you help Maiko take over the Clouds and accept her money, you won’t be able to romance Judy.
      • Try to keep Maiko alive, either by talking her down or by knocking her out with a non-lethal attack; this will lead to the mission ending with Judy thanking V and kissing them on the cheek.
  5. After a day (24 in-game hours), Judy will call and ask V to meet her at the dam. Head out to see her, and select [Stand] “Hell yeah, I’m in!” to go diving with Judy. When you’re done, you can spend the night with Judy at the bungalow and have a heart-to-heart with her. Lock in the romance by selecting the following dialogue options:[5]
    • [Stand] “Why not?”
    • “We’re still synced.”
    • [Touch] “It is ours.”
    • “The beginning of something amazing.”
      • You’ll get the final dialogue option after spending the night with Judy. She’ll ask V what that night meant to her, and V’s response will officially make Judy a long-term partner in the game!
    • After locking in the romance, V will have unlimited access to Judy’s apartment as well.
  6. While Pyramid Song is technically the end of Judy’s questline and romance, you’ll also be able to complete the side mission I Really Want To Stay At Your House, which sees Judy come over for a date and sleepover. You’ll get a text from Judy (after she’s been romanced) that kicks off the quest, after which you can go to V’s apartment and spend time with her.[6]
    • V can do several things with their love interest (in this case, Judy) during the date, including cuddling, gazing out the window, dancing, showering together, talking, and going to bed together.
    • This quest is repeatable; a couple of days after you hang out for the first time, you’ll be able to ask Judy on another date (although there won’t be any new or additional content).

Section 3 of 3:

Can you romance Judy as a male in Cyberpunk 2077?

PDF download Download Article
  1. Judy isn’t interested in male-presenting characters—only feminine Vs. V’s genitals are customizable, and you can romance Judy no matter what you choose; only V’s body type and voice tone have to be feminine. V’s Lifepath choice doesn’t matter, either, and you can romance Judy as a Nomad, Corpo, or Streetkid.
    • Cyberpunk 2077 has four main romance options, two of which are interested in female-presenting Vs: Judy Álvarez and River Ward.
    • Meanwhile, male-presenting Vs can romance Panam Palmer or Kerry Eurodyne.
