There are 10 playable Energy types in Pokémon TCG: Colorless, Darkness, Dragon, Fighting, Fire, Grass, Lightning, Metal, Psychic, and Water. Fairy was previously a type, but it’s no longer legally playable. To use a Pokémon’s attack, add the specific type(s) of Energy card to the Pokémon in the required number.
