How to Make Instagram Forget Your Login Info (Turn off Auto Login Permanently)

A quick & easy guide to removing your Instagram login info

This wikiHow teaches you how to prevent Instagram from saving your login name and password. Normally when you sign out of Instagram, your Android, iPhone, or iPad remembers your login so you can easily sign back in next time. If you want to delete a saved log in, you'll just need to sign out and remove the login information from the sign-in screen.

Removing Login Info on Instagram

Log out of your Instagram account and tap the 3 vertical dots next to your account. Then, tap “X” or “Remove account.” Select “Remove” to confirm your decision.

Tap your profile icon in Instagram.

Tap the three-line menu.
