This wikiHow teaches you how to contact Yahoo. There is no free way to directly contact Yahoo, though you may be able to submit a contact form in the Yahoo Help Central for some issues. You also might be able to get help via social media, but it may take a while to get a reply. If you pay for Yahoo Plus Support, you'll get access to a direct support line that you can call 24/7. Keep in mind that you can change or reset your password without having to contact Yahoo.

How to Call Yahoo Customer Service

• Contact Yahoo Customer Care at 1-800-745-0739, 1-800-875-9824, 1-800-305-7664, or 1-800-300-8514 if you subscribe to Yahoo Plus Support.
• You can also contact Yahoo Customer Care over social media, but don't expect a quick response.
• Go to the Yahoo Help Central to find help articles for most Yahoo account or service issues.

   Sign up for Yahoo Plus Support. Yahoo has a dedicated phone line available for Yahoo Plus Support subscribers. Yahoo promises that this support line is staffed 24/7 by real human support staff who can help with any issue, big or small.

   • To sign up for Yahoo Plus Support, go to the Yahoo Plus Support page and click Sign up now. Yahoo Plus Support costs $4.99 USD per month.
   • Alternatively, you can call 1-800-305-7664 to sign up.

   Call for assistance. Note that you must have an active Yahoo Plus Support membership to get help from Yahoo's paid premium support.

   • Use the number provided to you by Yahoo to call them. Some of Yahoo's phone numbers include 1-800-745-0739, 1-800-875-9824, 1-800-305-7664, and 1-800-300-8514.
   • Note that there are no other phone numbers to call Yahoo. If you see a different phone number to contact Yahoo, don't call it, as this number is not affiliated with Yahoo and could be a scammer trying to get your information. Never give out sensitive information over the phone.

   Open Yahoo's Help Center page. Go to help.yahoo.com/ in your browser. Depending on the issue you're having, you may be able to contact Yahoo through Help Central. However, not every article has a contact button.

   • If you want to change your password, you don't need to contact Yahoo customer care for help. Learn more about how to change your Yahoo password in this wikiHow article.

   Choose a category. At the top of the page, you'll see a horizontal list of categories (starting with Account). Choose the category that fits your needs best.

   Select a topic. Below the "BROWSE BY TOPIC" heading on the left side of the page, click a topic that relates to your selected product. Doing so will prompt a list of resource articles to appear in the middle of the page.

   Select a resource. Click one of the resources in the middle of the page. This will open the resource's page.

   Read the resulting page. Depending on the resource on which you clicked, what you will see here will vary; for most resources, you'll see a list of instructions, tips, and/or information about your selected topic.

   • For example, if you selected Account as your product, Account security as your topic, and Secure your Yahoo account as your resource, you'll arrive at a page with different sets of instructions on how to secure your Yahoo account.
