If you've misplaced the serial number for your AutoCAD product, you may be wondering how you can find it again. Thankfully, the process is pretty simple! This wikiHow will teach you how to find an AutoCAD serial number in your email, your Autodesk account, in contract details if you're a contract manager or software coordinator, or in the education community website (for students and teachers only).

Ways to Check an AutoCAD Serial Number

If you got your AutoCAD product digitally, the serial number will be in your email. The serial number is also in your Autodesk account under the Products & Services tab, or the Contracts & Orders tab if you have an AutoCAD contract. Students and teachers can find their serial number in their Education Community account.

Check your email for a message from Autodesk. If you downloaded your AutoCAD product or purchased it from the Autodesk eStore, you can find the serial number and product key in the email from Autodesk.

Go to https://manage.autodesk.com/ and sign in. You can use any web browser on your computer to access your Autodesk account and find your AutoCAD serial number.^{[2]

Click View details next to the desired product. This will expand the product details, which includes your product's serial number and product key.^{[3]

Go to https://manage.autodesk.com/ and sign in. You can use any web browser on your computer to access your Autodesk account and find your AutoCAD serial number.
- You should use this method if you're a software coordinator or contract manager and have a contract number instead of a single copy of AutoCAD.
You'll see this in the menu on the left side of the page.
A detailed list will appear and show you the serial numbers and product keys for the contract number you selected.^{[4]
