Did you ever wonder where Zapdos is in Pokémon Leaf Green? If you would read this short article, you will know where to get him, how to catch him, and what you need.

  1. If you do not have that, you'll need to find and go to the secret house in the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City.
  2. You'll see water that you can surf on.

  3. [1] Surf on the water until you run into a small island with a building.
    • Save before you do this, for you only have one chance to catch him. Zapdos is level 50, and very hard to catch. If you accidentally made it faint or you ran out of Poké Balls, restart the game.
    • Try both a ground-type Pokémon to weaken him, and a flying-type one to lower his health.
    • Try not to use your Master Ball for this. It is possible to catch Zapdos with an Ultra Ball, so load up on those before you battle.

Zapdos has an extremely low base catch rate of 3, making it one of the most challenging Pokémon to capture. You will need to be persistent, as its capture often requires numerous attempts.
