Big foreheads are a common feature on cartoon characters. They often indicate that a character is super smart, but sometimes they’re just a design choice to make a character really stand out! If you’re curious about the most iconic characters with big foreheads, keep reading. We partnered with a TV screenwriter to help us compile some of the biggest foreheads (some are even bigger than a fivehead!) in TV, movies, and anime below.

The Most Famous Characters with Big Foreheads

TV screenwriter Michael Jamin says two of the characters with the biggest foreheads are Beavis and Butt-Head. Some other iconic foreheads include Megamind, Jimmy Neutron, Stewie Griffin, Sakura Haruno, Android 18, and Nick Birch. A big forehead can indicate a character is a genius, or just make them visually distinct.

  1. A ridiculously giant head is a classic sign of a genius-level character, and Megamind is no exception! The blue alien has a forehead that stretches and balloons over his face, so he’s a real head turner in his world. Luckily, the villain uses his brainpower for good in the end, and becomes the city’s hero (with the biggest forehead, we might add).
