  • SpongeBob is an '80s kid? While SpongeBob's age has been hotly debated, we actually do know his birthday, as it's printed on his driver's license when he fiiiiinally gets it: July 14, 1986.
  • Creator Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist? Yup! The iconic creator behind SpongeBob SquarePants was actually a marine biologist before making a career pivot to animation.
