PDF download Download Article

If you linked your Steam account to Rockstar Games to play titles like Grand Theft Auto V, you can unlink it, but at the cost of your progress. When you unlink your accounts, you won't be able to link them again or get your progress back, so make sure it's something you want to do. Keep in mind, you must have access to your Rockstar account to unlink it from Steam. Here's how to unlink your Rockstar account from Steam using your computer, Xbox, PlayStation, and more.

Remove Steam from Rockstar Games

Go to the Rockstar Games ticket request page. Select the options for help with your Account > Account settings > Linking / unlinking accounts. Include a screenshot of your Steam ID, enter it manually, and then explain why you're unlinking.
