How to Turn off Google Web & App Activity

  • On Android, go to Settings > Google > Manage Your Google Account > Data & Privacy > Web & App Activity and tap "Turn Off."
  • To turn off Web & App Activity on iPhone, iPad, or on a computer, go to myaccount.google.com/activitycontrols and tap "Turn Off."
  • You can view your Web & App activity and access other activity settings at myactivity.google.com/myactivity.

    • If you don't see this button, make sure you're logged into a Google account on your Android. You may have accidentally removed your account.

  2. You should see the Google account and your profile picture at the top of the page. This displays all accounts you are signed into on your device.
  3. This will be located under your Google account name.
    • If you want to switch your account, tap one of the other accounts listed.
  4. It’s next to a purple icon with an image that resembles a slider bar.

  1. Go to Google Account Activity Controls page in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your iPhone or iPad, such as Safari or Chrome, to access your Google account settings.
    • If you're not signed in to your Google account, follow the on-screen instructions to sign in now.
    • If you have the Google app installed on your iPhone or iPad, you can also do this from the app.
      • Tap your profile pic in the top right corner.
