In Fallout 4, you can find and throw a variety of grenades and Molotovs to fight back against danger. This can be done with a keyboard or a controller; you'll just need to equip the grenade in your Pip-Boy first. Then, you can use your melee button to aim and launch the explosive. This wikiHow will show you how to throw a grenade in Fallout 4 using your PC, PlayStation 4 or 5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S.

Things You Should Know

Open your Pip-Boy and go to "Inventory" and then "Weapons". Select the grenade and select "Equip".
Press and hold the melee button until you hear a click. This will be R1 (PS4), RB (Xbox), or Alt (PC).
Release the melee button to throw the grenade.
