When the Taco Bell cravings come calling, you’re duty-bound to answer—but what if you’re in the mood for something a little different? The Taco Bell “secret menu” might have exactly what you’re looking for. While unofficial, this “menu” features a variety of special customizations that many Taco Bell locations can make using the ingredients they have on hand. We’ve let the burrito out of the bag and corralled some of the tastiest, most popular secret menu items for you to peruse. Happy scrolling!

Disclaimer: Many secret menu items are customizations to existing menu options. In some cases, you might be charged extra (like an extra $1.10 for guacamole, 65¢ for beans, or 55¢ for rice).

Things You Should Know

For well-known items (like “The Cheesarito” or “The Superman”) you can try to ask for them by name.
If the Taco Bell employee isn't familiar with your choice, give a more specific description of exactly what you want (we'll teach how you below!).
For some secret menu items, it's easiest to just order all of the add-ons you need, then put them together yourself.

Take the beans out of a bean burrito and replace them with lots of cheese. Start by ordering a bean burrito without any beans. (Yes, this sounds a little funky at first—just trust the process!)
