What started out as an exercise in spotting fake vapes has turned out to be one of the most interesting roller coasters we’ve encountered. The TLDR is that Space Club products do not appear to be legit and you should not risk trying them, since they may contain dangerous ingredients. In this article, we’ll break down how to spot fake vape companies (including Space Club) so that you can ensure you don’t expose your body to anything harmful.

Based on research and user reports, it appears that Space Club disposable vape products are not legitimate. User reviews suggest they’ll generally work to get you high, but may be unsafe. The risks of consuming counterfeit THC products far outweigh the benefits.

We can’t find any reputable evidence that Space Club is legit. While vape enthusiasts offer some mixed reviews (we saw plenty of happy smokers reviewing their products), there is no definitive evidence that Space Club is a legitimate vape brand with a reputable product; they have no listed location, their online pages are buggy, users report random levels of quality, and they provide no business credentials anywhere on their websites. We highly encourage you to not use these vapes, since we cannot verify the integrity of their products.^{[1]

- Space Club looks like they may have been a reputable brand sold by a company called Space Gods at some point, but Space Gods is also not a verifiably good brand. In fact, we even found conversations surrounding confusion regarding this online—users who previously had good experiences were noticing the ingredients were no longer legit.

Buggy, unusable, or flimsy website At first look, Space Club’s Website appears to be legit. There are few major red flags, though. First, if you scroll to the bottom and try to sign up for their newsletter, the box isn’t clickable. There are lots of these fake buttons and links all over the page. Then, note that there is no contact information anywhere on the page!
- A reputable brand will be easy to contact and find. They won’t hide their address or phone number anywhere. We actually tried to find their contact info elsewhere which led us to an odd discovery: They have a second website.
Okay, maybe the previous link was for a specific type of product. We checked out Space Club’s Second Website and discovered much of the same problem. Bad links and a “chat with us” tool that didn’t respond did not engender us with confidence. But they did have contact info!

Fake phone numbers or unofficial contact methods Calling the number at the bottom of Space Club’s second website leads you to a Google Voice number listed in Idaho. This is another sign of a fake company—a real business will have a registered official line, not a Google Voice number. On top of that, they list their location vaguely as “South Los Angeles, CA, United States.” So why is there no address and why is their phone hosted in Idaho?
- The only active media for Space Club is a Telegram channel. While there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with Telegram, it’s not the normal way for a legit company to communicate with its buyers.

Lack of restrictions for illegal buyers A legit THC vape company will have tons of loops for you to jump through before you can order their products online—there are just a ton of legal issues with this. We were able to get Space Club to confirm an order online for delivery to Oklahoma—a state where recreational marijuana is explicitly illegal.
- How do they take payment? A legitimate THC vendor will accept normal forms of payment. Space Club prefers Zelle and Bitcoin. Again, not a sign they’re reputable. Valid and reputable sellers should accept cash payment via a debit card or bank account.
- Reputable vape shops rarely ship everywhere. There are a lot of federal restrictions on shipping marijuana products, and there are very few dispensaries that are licensed to ship everywhere. They exist, but most reputable shops should have a restricted range they can ship to.^{[2]

A reputable vape company will provide tons of information on their packaging. What the contents are, where the product was sourced, and info on the lab results for the product. We aren’t able to inspect the packaging of the Space Club products directly, but from online searches, it doesn’t look like they’re listing everything they should be.

Old, outdated, or incorrect lab results Space Club does link to labs for some of their products on one of their sites, but look at the address on the report. If you search that address online, you’ll see that it’s the address for One Vape Distribution—a distributor of vapes, not a manufacturer. On top of that, One Vape Distribution has been permanently shuttered for years now. The business no longer exists.
- We think it’s likely that One Vape sent in the Space Club products for testing themselves before distributing them, but it’s not apparent that they made the products (or any products, for that matter). Old lab reports are not going to be valid or safe.
- Always cross-check the labs with the label! If you do find labs for a product, look at the listed ingredients to confirm they match the ingredients listed on the label.

Fake vapes are connected to serious health issues—and even death. The contents of fake vape cartridges are untested, which means there’s no way to know what you’re actually inhaling when you hit one. As a result, you could be doing serious damage to your lungs, heart, or brain.^{[3]
