  2. If you’re friends with the person, you’ll see this option at the very top of their profile, at the upper right corner of their cover photo (if they have one). If you’re not friends with them, it will be below their username and description.

    • On a Page, you’ll see a Report Page option near the top of the menu.
  4. You’ll see the option to report Something about this profile (or Page) or A specific post. If you’re friends with the person, you might also see the option to report a recent message they sent to you.

      • When you tap one of these options, you’ll see even more specific options to choose from. For example, when you select Fake profile, you can specify whether the person is pretending to be someone else (e.g., you, a friend, a celebrity, a business) or that they’re not a real person.
    • If you live in the US, you can also select the Fill in form link at the bottom of the menu to submit a detailed report about specific harms. This option is specifically for reporting non-consensual intimate images.
  5. It's a blue button at the bottom of the screen. You may also see an option to tap Done when you’re finished.
    • Depending on the nature of your report, you might be asked to submit additional details. You might also receive a notification about how Facebook’s moderation services decided to handle your report.
  6. If there’s specific content you want to report, you can do so directly from the post, comment, or message in question.
