    When you click "word art," there is a little box that pops up toward the top/center of the screen (under the menu). In the box, type whatever you want ("Happy Birthday") then press enter. For multiple lines, press SHIFT+ENTER for every new line.

    Yes, you can, but there aren't many options. The best ones are probably Microsoft Word or Smilebox. Smilebox is free, but Microsoft Word works better.
