The last thing you want is to put yourself and your guests in a direction where you're uncomfortable, so think about what you and your guests like. If you're more comfortable with groups of maybe three to four people at the most, consider dividing up the room and playing board games. -

Is there a theme? Is there a budget? And then also, what is the guest count? Those are the main components to have locked down. Some people like it more relaxed and others want to go all-out. I've worked on company parties that wanted a specific theme and others that just wanted a party where everyone comes in jeans and has drinks. -

QuestionI have one day to plan, and I am 8. How do I throw a party?
Amy PaigeCommunity AnswerTo host a Christmas party, you don't need loads of time to make it memorable and fun, as long as you keep everyone happy and having a good time. You could start by either hand writing or typing invitations, and getting those you invite to let you know whether they can or cannot come. Once the day has come and everyone has arrived, you can put on Christmas music. You could also get people to help make food or bring dishes for a potluck. -
QuestionHow can I host a Christmas party in my room?

QuestionCan I put a drink station?
Community AnswerYes, you can. -
QuestionHow do I put a lot of time into this if I have school/ work?
CookingmastaCommunity AnswerYou should be on winter break near Christmastime, so you wouldn’t have to do school and work. However, if you do get assigned work that might bleed into your party planning time, ask for a break after doing work, or just work for a specified about of time per day.
