How to Pair AfterShokz Headphones

To put your AirShokz into pairing mode, press and hold the volume+ button until the LED on the headset starts flashing blue and red. Once it's in pairing mode, go to the Bluetooth menu on your device and select your AfterShokz from the list of available devices to connect it.

  1. If you take too long to pair your AfterShokz after putting them in pairing mode, they will leave pairing mode. Once you get to the Bluetooth menu on your device, put your AfterShokz back in pairing mode.
  2. Make sure that your AfterShokz headset is in Bluetooth range of your device, which is about 30 feet. However, closer is always better!
  3. Your AfterShokz may be using outdated firmware.[8] To update your AfterShokz firmware, you'll have to reset your headphones.
      • Press and hold volume+ for 5 to 7 seconds.
      • Press and hold the multifunction button, power/volume+, and volume- buttons simultaneously for 3 to 5 seconds. You will hear some beeps and vibrations.
      • Turn your headphones off, then back on. Your headset is now reset and can be paired to your device.
