   Random chance: After a taped interview According to Merrifield, if you know a celebrity is filming an interview or making an appearance on a late-night show (such as The Graham Norton Show), waiting for them to leave the building can give you the opportunity to meet them. He just notes that this can be tricky, as it requires you to be in the know about their schedule.

   • Besides having to wait for a long time, Merrifield says this might not be the best option because the celebrity will likely be tired after filming, and just want to go home instead of talking to fans or signing autographs.
   • However, if Jenna is your dream celebrity and you only have this chance to meet her, Merrifield says to take the opportunity. Just don’t hound her (or any other celebrities), as this can become a problem.
   • If Jenna ever does a play or other theatre work, try waiting outside the stage door to meet her. Merrifield says this is another good way to meet a celebrity. Just be aware that she’ll likely be tired after the show and might not have the energy to interact with fans.
