A simple guide on getting all of the hidden achievements

Clash Royale’s new “Chaos” mode is a lot of fun. You get random, often ridiculous, upgrades for your cards at random in 50- to 60-second intervals during Chaos matches, so games get pretty hectic pretty fast. There are also three secret badges for players to earn. In this article, we’ll break down what you need to do to unlock and earn all three of the mode’s secret badges—Don't Lose Badge, Go For The King Badge, and What Can I Say Badge.

Requirements for the Secret Badges

  • Badge #1: Win 3 games in a row.
  • Badge #2: Win 1 game without hitting the opponent’s Princess Towers.
  • Badge #3: Select 4 specific upgrades in a game: Goblin Hut (No Party Like a Goblin Party), Mortar (Be the Boulder), Rocket (Party On, Goblin!), and Wizard (Zap! Ouch! Brrr!)

The “Don’t Lose” Badge

  1. This one is pretty straightforward and it won’t require much else beyond some good old persistence to get it. Simply play enough to win three games in row.[1]
    • Chaos mode (technically abbreviated “C.H.A.O.S.” mode) involves a lot of RNG. You get a random upgrade option every 50-60 seconds, so you just have to string some good luck together.
    • Some players have claimed you can get any of these badges by playing friendly matches, but it looks like if that were true at one point, Supercell has since patched that loophole. You have to get the badges in regular matchmaking.

The “Go for the King” Badge

  1. This involves some careful deck planning (and again, a bit of RNG). You cannot damage the Princess Towers at all for this badge, so pick a deck that won’t path towards the Princess Towers on the side of the map once they’re hit.[2] Here are some ideas:
    • Rage: Any air-targeting spell, like Rage, will damage the King Tower directly or clear targets.
    • Fireball: Same idea as Rage. It targets and won’t hit the Princess Towers.
    • PEKKA: This slow unit will wreck a King tower if you get the right modifier or spawn it in the middle.
    • Rocket: More targeted damage.
    • Ram Rider: You need to wait for the opponent to put a unit in the middle the Rider will prioritize (like Cannon or Goblin Hut) that’s near the King Tower for this to work.
    • Inferno Tower: Good defensive option that won’t hit a Princess Tower.
    • Goblin Barrel: One of its modifiers (Muscle Mates) is one of the best in the game. It’s cheap and will end the game quickly.
    • Goblin Drill: This one requires a touch of good luck since a respawning drill will appear next to any royal tower, but it is a good win condition.
    • Balloon: You need the right modifier, but a modified balloon that runs right to the King Tower will put in serious work.

The “What Can I Say” Badge

  1. You do not have to win a match to unlock this badge—you simply have to select four specific modifiers for four specific cards (Goblin Hut, Mortar, Rocket, and Wizard). Since every card only has three potential upgrades, this is just a matter of staying persistent. You’ll eventually get this one so long as you stay at it. Here are the mods you need to choose:[3]
    • Goblin Hut: No Party Like a Goblin Party (rare modifier)
    • Mortar: Be the Boulder (rare modifier)
    • Rocket: Party On, Goblin! (rare modifier)
    • Wizard: Zap! Ouch! Brrr! (epic modifier)
