According to an "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit, director Maggie Kang says she always pictured Rumi as 23 or 24. She adds that Mira is about 6 months younger than Rumi, and Zoey is the youngest at 22 or 23.
The voice actors for HUNTR/X are a little older than their characters. For their speaking voices, Arden Cho (Rumi) is 40, May Hong (Mira) is 36, and Ji-young Yoo (Zoey) is 26. For their singing voices, EJAE (Rumi) is 33, Audrey Nuna (Mira) is 26, and Rei Ami (Zoey) is 30.
