Because Chanel bags are highly sought after, it’s common for other companies to make convincing dupes. Luckily, there are key differences that set real and fake Chanel bags apart, including their materials, stitching, and hardware. Spotting a Fake vs Real Chanel Bag

Look for a serial number on the inside of the bag’s hardware, either engraved or on a sticker, says luxury authentication expert Nikita Chen. If there’s no serial number, the bag is likely a fake. Similarly, inspect the color, logos, patterns, and fonts used on the bag and its tags for consistency and quality.
