Do you want to move your Chrome bookmarks to another browser or computer? You can use Chrome's built-in Export Bookmarks feature to save all of your bookmarks to an HTML file that's easy to import into other web browsers, including Edge, Safari, or another instance of Chrome. Here's how to export bookmarks from Chrome using your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer. We'll also show you how to import those exported bookmarks into Chrome on any computer.

Easily Export Chrome Bookmarks on Any Computer

To export bookmarks from Chrome, click the three-dot menu, choose Bookmarks and lists, then select Bookmark manager. In the bookmark manager, click the three-dot menu, choose Export bookmarks, and then click Save.

  5. Alternatively, you can keep the default name, which is "bookmarks_(date).html."[5]
    • If you don't want to save your Chrome bookmarks to the current folder, select a different folder now.
  6. It's in the bottom-right corner of the window. Now that you've exported your bookmarks from Google Chrome, you can easily import them into another web browser like Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox.[6]

  1. If you want to import your exported bookmark file into Google Chrome, whether on the same or a different computer, you can do so in the bookmark manager. Start by clicking the three dots at the top-right corner of the window.[7]
