Do you want to show your friend a specific profile or report someone? Fortunately, Facebook makes saving the URL to your device's clipboard easy. Since there's no address bar in the Facebook app, you'll need to go directly to the profile's menu. This wikiHow will show you how to find and copy a Facebook profile URL using the mobile app and a mobile web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

Sharing a Facebook Profile URL

1. Go to a profile in the Facebook app or facebook.com in a mobile browser.
2. Tap ••• under the user's name.
3. Tap Share profile.
4. Tap Copy link.
5. Paste the link in another app by long-pressing and selecting Paste.

   Go to the profile you want to get a link to. In the Facebook app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, tap the magnifying glass at the top-right corner of the screen, then search for the person whose profile you want to share.

   • If you want to copy your own profile's URL, tap ☰ and then tap your name at the top. You'll be redirected to your profile.
   • Facebook is available for iOS in the App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store.
   • You can also go to facebook.com in a mobile browser.

   Tap ••• . You can find this underneath the person's name, next to the Message button.

   • A new page will open.

   Tap Share profile. A pop-up menu will open at the bottom of the page.

   Tap Copy link. This will be under the Share to header.

   • You can now paste the URL into another platform, such as Messages or Instagram, to share the profile with others.
   • You can also share the Facebook profile with other users in Facebook Messenger. Just tap the Facebook user underneath the Send in Messenger header.

Using a Mobile Web Browser

   Go to the Facebook profile you want to share. If you're using Facebook on your phone or tablet in a web browser, you can still get a profile link to share with others. To search for someone, tap the magnifying glass in the Facebook app to open the search tool and enter a name. Alternatively, you can find someone on your feed.

   • You can sign in to Facebook.com in a mobile web browser–this can be Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, or another web browser app

   Tap the address bar. This is either at the top of your browser or at the bottom. This will have the Facebook profile link you need.

   Highlight and copy the URL. Some devices will automatically highlight the full URL after tapping it. Otherwise, tap the address bar, and then tap Select All or similar to highlight it.

   • Once the URL is highlighted, tap Copy to save the URL to your device's clipboard.

   Share the URL. You can paste the link on another platform or app. Just tap an empty text field, and then tap Paste.
