Credit Karma is a popular personal finance company that helps you manage your credit and finances. If you’re having trouble using the platform or need to contact Credit Karma with a concern, there are plenty of easy ways to get in touch with the company’s support team. For instance, you can chat with a live customer service agent, submit an online request to get help via email, or check out the Help Center. Keep reading to get the support you need!
Contacting Credit Karma for Help
Chat with a live agent by going to the Help Center and clicking the green chat icon in the bottom corner. Or, complete a request form to receive help via email. Credit Karma does not have a customer service phone line for regular users. Only Money Members have access to a support line (which is in their account).
Steps
Chatting with Credit Karma Support
-
Go to the Credit Karma Help Center and click the green chat bubble. While Credit Karma doesn’t have a customer service phone number, they do have a 24/7 chat feature that you can use to get help quickly. Simply go to Credit Karma's Help Center, look for the green chat bubble in the bottom right corner, and click it.
-
Enter your name, email, phone number, and birth date. Before you can start chatting with a customer service agent, simply fill out the form in the chat box. This includes your first and last name, the email address you use for your account, your phone number, and your date of birth. Then, click “Start Chat.”Advertisement
-
Select the issue you’re having, or type your question in the chat box. Credit Karma’s chatbot will greet you in the chat and provide you with a few options you may be having trouble with. Select one of the options, or type out the problem you’re having.
-
Ask for a live agent if you still need help. If the chatbot can’t provide the support you need, simply type something like “I need to speak to a live agent” into the chat box. The bot will then transfer you to a live customer service representative who will offer you their help.
Submitting an Online Support Request

If you have a question or concern about your account, it’s best to reach out to Credit Karma via chat or by filling out their online request form. However, if you have a question about their privacy practices or working for them, Credit Karma does provide emails that may be helpful. For instance:

For instance, if you’re worried about what happens to your data after you delete your account, you might ask Credit Karma to explain their data holding policy.
- Add a polite signature to the end of your email. For instance, type something like, "Thank you for your time and patience in helping me. Kind regards, [Your name]."
- Follow a formal email format when you write to a business, says etiquette coach Tami Claytor.[3]
- Claytor advises that you start your email with a salutation and close it with warm regards or best regards.[4]
- Claytor says to make sure your spelling and grammar are correct, too.[5]
-
Wait for a response from Credit Karma. It may take Credit Karma a few days to respond to your email. Depending on the question or concern that you asked them about, they may need some additional information from you, so keep an eye out for their response.
