I agree that you’ve got to be prepared to sit and listen. Expect her to need to talk out her feelings and go through the process of working it out, because she doesn't want it to happen again. She wants you to understand how she was hurt and why she wasn't being heard and understood. And even if you may be thinking, “But I am right,” you've just got to let it go. If you want to have a relationship with people, you can't be "right" all the time. It's more about choosing connection over being right, and if she's worth it to you, listen to her express herself and let her feel heard and understood.
How do I attract my hot coworker?
If you're in the situation where you want to date someone at work, you really have to make it clear that you want to know your coworker outside of work. Flirt with him by making eye contact, being curious about his relationship status, and specifically asking to do something in the evening or on the weekend, like getting a drink. Subtler ways to flirt would include eye contact, playful comments, light touching at the end of a joke, and things like that.

The number one way to show effort in your relationship is to pay attention to your partner. Really listen to them and focus on what they're saying when you're with them, and don't be distracted by your phone or extraneous things going on.

Another thing you could do to put effort into the relationship is to work toward resolving problems that bother your partner, especially if it's a reasonable issue. For example, if you usually run late and it bothers your partner, make it a point to be on time so you're not disrespecting them in any way.

Some other ways to show up in your relationship include getting your partner a small gift that they'll love, like chocolates or flowers. This shows that your partner you were thinking about them and wanted to make them feel special.

Spend a lot of quality time with them as well. Really connect with each other when you're together by talking openly, discussing the relationship, and incorporating some physical touch.
Best questions to ask to know someone better?
Asking questions is a great way to get to know someone, but you can make it more engaging by guessing through observations and using your imagination. So, for example, instead of saying "Where did you grow up?" you might say, "I'm going to guess where you grew up, based on how you behave, or your mannerisms, or your accent." By turning it into a guessing game, it becomes a lot more engaging.

Then, you can ask follow-up questions. If they say, “Oh, actually, I'm from Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. That's where I grew up," then they can say, “Oh, what was it like there?” Or, “What were you like as a child?” And then you can just go deeper into who they are that way, because the point is to really make a connection with the person.
How do you know if a guy's single?
To find out if a guy is single, you can always look at his social media posts and see who he's with, or ask probing questions about his life. You could ask things like, "What do you do?" or "What's your life like during the week?" if you don't want to ask directly.

You can also flirt with him a little bit! Make a few comments like, "You're a really great listener!" or "You're really interesting to talk to!" Then, escalate by asking him to grab coffee with you, or something similar. If he's flirting with you or breaking the touch barrier, these are signs that he's definitely interested in you too. If he's in a relationship, he'll probably mention it then.

If you have some suspicion that he may have a girlfriend, then directly ask at one point. Say something like, "You seem like a really cool guy. Are you seeing anyone?"
