Do you want to add a specific avatar in Roblox Studio? Whether you're looking to add your own avatar or someone else's, there are thankfully a few plugins that make this process incredibly simple. In this article, we'll teach you how to use the Insert Avatar plugin by Jozeni00 (which is free) and the Load Character Pro plugin by AlreadyPro (which is $5). Keep reading to learn how.

Adding an Avatar in Roblox Studio

Two popular plugins for adding someone's avatar in Roblox Studio are the Insert Avatar plugin by Jozeni00 and the Load Character Pro plugin by AlreadyPro. These plugins work similarly: once you open the plugin in the Studio, search for the user you want to add, then click the button to load their avatar.

Using the "Insert Avatar" Plugin

Install the Insert Avatar plugin. To do so, go to the Insert Avatar plugin page and click Get Plugin. The plugin will be added to Roblox Studio immediately.
- If you don't see the plugin after installing, simply close and reopen Roblox Studio.
It's at the top of Roblox Studio. If you don't have Roblox Studio open, open it now.

It's at the top of the screen, in the "Insert Avatar" section. Clicking this button will add your own Roblox avatar into Roblox Studio.
This will open a list of all of your Roblox friends. If you have a lot of friends, this menu will be very large! Avatars in a Team Create session with you and characters you've favorited will also show up in this menu.
The avatar will be added into the Roblox Studio workspace.
This will open a window that says "Insert Avatar" with a picture of an avatar and some other options.

Choose your options. There are a few options you can select. Changing these options will also affect the avatars you load in using Local Char and Insert Friend.
- R6: Loads an older R6 model of the selected user.
- R15: Loads a newer R15 model of the selected user.
- R15 Classic: Loads an R15 model at the same dimensions of an R6 model.
- Point Origin: Loads the character at 0, 0, 0 coordinates.
- Use DisplayName: Adds a display name of the user over the model.
- Keep Scripts: Selecting this keeps any default Roblox character scripts the model has.
In the black bar under the options, you can type a username. You can type any Roblox username here.
If you want to add this user to the "Insert Friend" list, click the star next to the Insert Avatar button.^{[1]

Install the Load Character Pro plugin. To install this plugin, go to the Load Character Pro plugin page and click Buy for $4.99. After purchase, the plugin will be immediately added to your Roblox Studio.^{[2]

- If you don't see the plugin after installing, simply close and reopen Roblox Studio.
- The free version of the Load Character plugin, Load Character Lite, is no longer supported.

It's in a section that says "AlreadyPro's Plugins."
Once you click on Load Character, you'll see a box pop up. In that box is a picture of an avatar, then under that is a white box. In that white box, type the name of the account you want to load the avatar of. If you want to use your own avatar, type your own username.

Click Spawn R6 or Spawn R15. R6 is the older Roblox model version, with fewer attachment nodes. R15 is the newer version with more attachment nodes.^{[3]
