How to Make a 2026 Bingo Card

  1. 1
Reflect on what you want in 2026. Before actually making your board, set aside some time to truly think about what you want to achieve in 2026. You may want to create a bingo board focused on a specific theme, like health and wellness or creativity, or you may want a well-rounded board that reflects many aspects of your life.
    • A typical bingo card contains 24 blank squares, plus a free space, so try to think of at least that many ideas. You can also decide on a smaller or larger board, if you prefer.
    • Don’t have a New Year’s resolution picked out? No worries! Check out our New Year’s Resolution Generator for some personalized ideas.
    • Licensed clinical psychologist and life coach Susan Pazak, PhD, says, “We can keep New Year’s resolutions by writing clear, specific goals with a plan of action and date.”[2] So, try to be as specific as possible when planning your bingo board!
  2. 2
Choose a physical or digital format. If you enjoy the act of physically crossing things off on your board, you may prefer to create a physical board, either by downloading a blank template or by drawing your own. Alternatively, fill out a digital bingo card and use it as your phone background to remind yourself of your goals. You can also share it on social media to help hold yourself accountable!
    • If you’re drawing your own bingo board, a typical one is a grid of 25 squares, with 5 squares across and 5 squares down. Use a ruler to make sure each square is the same size.
  3. 3
Fill out and decorate your bingo board. Make your board unique to you and your goals! Write each goal in one of the available spaces. If you’re using a physical board, use colorful markers and add drawings or stickers to personalize each goal. If you’re using a digital board, play around with fun fonts, photos, and background colors to tailor your board to your preferences.
    • If you want, make your “free space” something that’s guaranteed to happen, like celebrating your birthday!
  4. 4
Start achieving your goals. Once your board is complete, it’s time to start playing! Mark off each goal as you complete it. If you want, reward yourself with a small treat every time you get a bingo and a larger treat if you manage to black out the board![3]
    • Life coach Amber Rosenberg, PCC, says, “Be patient with yourself. On average, it takes 21 days to create a new habit.”[4] Don’t give up just because it’s taking a while to achieve your goals. Stay committed, and you’ll achieve a bingo before you know it.
