It’s hard to know for sure if someone blocked your number, but there are a few signs. If your calls go straight to voicemail every time, or you hear one ring and then voicemail, it’s possible you’re blocked. Texts may also stop showing “delivered” on some phones. Keep in mind it could also be their phone being off, out of service, or Do Not Disturb. The only real way to know is either to wait it out or reach them through another method to confirm.

1. Power the screen off completely.
It makes dust easier to see and reduces the chance of streaks.
2. Use a clean microfiber cloth only.
Paper towels and tissues can leave scratches over time, so I avoid them.
3. Lightly dampen the cloth with distilled water or a 50/50 mix of water + isopropyl alcohol.
Never spray directly on the screen — I always spray onto the cloth first.
4. Wipe in gentle, circular motions.
No pressure, just slow passes until the smudges lift.
If the screen has stubborn spots (like fingerprints or food), the diluted alcohol mix works great, but for everyday dusting, plain water on a microfiber cloth is enough. No fancy cleaners needed — just avoid ammonia or glass cleaners because they can damage coatings.
