Have quite a few varied hobbies and interests. Not just bikes (wonder if anyone will get the reference) but also cars (currently own a Mazda MX-5, not many articles regarding those on here XD), computers, music, philosophy. Probably missed a few.
I use Linux Mint 21 as my everyday operating system. Meanwhile, my Windows 11 PC is limited to gaming purposes only.
I have a number of hobbies not limited to cycling, driving, music and computing. I also love animals. Loves the colour yellow. Welcomes messages.
Currently a Linux Mint user as well as a Windows 11 user.
Also still own a genuine Windows 98 machine from 1998.(pictured below with the unofficial service pack update). It often blue screens but the retro factor makes it forgiveable. If I remember correctly, Windows only Blue Screens if a program enters the memory space allocated for another program.
My current favourite animals are geese. Having looked after a baby gosling (correct name for a baby goose) they have grown on me massively.
I started on wikiHow as I was learning to virtualise software using Oracle Virtualbox. However, there were tutorials for the newer operating systems but hardly any for the older ones. This was a gap that I filled.

The suggested tip in this article tickled me a lot whilst being a Quality Guardian.
I screenshot a lot of stuff like this but some are far too rude to share. As much as hey make me laugh, I do feel sorry for those that have to delete 'inappropriate' Articles, Edits, Tips etc

Meet Butterfly, a wikiHowian who enjoys patrolling recent changes, categorising articles, welcoming new users and exploring activities on the Community Dashboard.
Why they contribute to wikiHow: "wikiHow is such a great community. From the very second I was sent a welcome message to my first contributions, I felt welcomed. It’s really simple to understand for beginners, making it really enjoyable when you’re starting off. People are always kind, warm and helpful here, which is why it makes wikiHowing a highlight of my day. The community is spreading magic every moment and I’m so glad to be part of this. We’re planting one seed of knowledge at a time."
Their advice to new editors: "wikiHow is all for collaboration! Your edits build upon other users’ edits, and your edits will continue to be built on by other contributors. Don’t forget to start slow and start small! You may be in a hurry to get an article published or get a lot of messages, but that isn’t necessary. Start by doing little yet helpful activities like spellchecking, categorising articles, and trying out the activities on the Community Dashboard. Every little contribution makes a difference! Finally, don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. We’re all volunteers and will be over-the-moon excited to help you out. Just choose a friendly face from the crowd and ask away!"
