No, it won't. Just make sure it's green or yellow and it doesn't smell bad.
  • Question
What is the redness on the inside of the avocado peel? Some of it is on the avocado. Is it too ripe? Is it okay to eat?

That means your avocado is overripe. Use a spoon to remove these parts and eat the green/lightly yellow mushy parts.

Rotten avocados are very shrunken and wrinkly in appearance and texture. The insides become so mushy they are like liquid. There also might be mold on the avocado.

Avocados aren't supposed to burn your lips. If they burn yours, you probably have an allergy - you can see your doctor for allergy testing if you're unsure.

It probably means it's time for it to go to compost, as it is likely too ripe to eat now.
  • Question
What are the brown streaks inside a ripe avocado?

Brown streaks are usually internal bruising or vascular browning from impact, pressure, or overripening. Other causes can be a chilling injury (if the fruit was too cold), air exposure/browning after the pit was removed, or the beginning of seed cavity breakdown. You can safely eat them if the smell and taste are normal; cut away brown areas if they are unappealing. Discard if there is mold, a sour or fermented smell, or extensive brown/black mushy tissue.
