The Takeaway: Hypnotizing Someone
To perform hypnosis, ask the subject to lie down or sit in a chair. Talk them through relaxing every part of their body, then begin giving suggestions using positive language and guided imagery based on your subject's goals. To wake them up, simply count down from 10 to 1 in a soothing voice.

Hypnosis is really a state of deep relaxation with acute focus. Everyone can be hypnotized if they allow themselves to be. If you can fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning, you've actually already gone through the hypnotic state twice.

Try to build a feeling of trust between you and your subject. It's really hard for the subject to relax if they feel hesitant about working with you.[11]Thanks

Hypnosis is entirely a consensual act. While it is usually possible to hypnotize a subject who is doubtful about their ability to enter trance, it is not possible to hypnotize someone who really does not want to be hypnotized. The same goes for suggestions used in trance; if a subject is not comfortable with a suggestion, it simply won't work, and trying to force it may result in an abrupt wake-up and a cranky subject.Thanks
