Feta cheese is yummy is all forms, but sometimes you've got a recipe that calls for melted feta. This article shows you how to easily melt feta.
Steps
-
Prepare a 'double boiler.' If you do not have one, add a clean jar, such as a jelly jar, in a pot of water. Do not start boiling your water yet.
-
Crumble your feta. Use small, but not tiny chunks.Advertisement
-
Add a small amount of preferably full milk to your jar and drop in your feta. You can use skim or 2% if you prefer.
-
Now turn your stove on to medium heat and allow water to boil.
-
As it heats up, stir it constantly.
-
Now you've got a feta cheese sauce!
-
Add a little cornstarch to thicken, or add water to thin it out.
-
Finished.
