Rumors circulated that Wolfhard and his Stranger Things costar and real-life bestie Gaten Matarazzo could be dating after they were photographed holding hands while checking out real estate in NYC in July 2024. However, Matarazzo is currently in a relationship with Elizabeth Yu (who was also with them that day). Some fans have theorized the two were intentionally attempting to reenact a silly paparazzi photo of Arrested Development stars Jason Bateman and Will Arnett from 2013, but even if they weren't, why can't two besties just hold hands, regardless of their genders?

I actually think hes bi, for a while i thougt he and jack dylan grazer had something. You could just tell. But now after years im not so sure if they really had something. And when they were young i always saw something in noah and finn and i dont know he just looks atleast bi but i dont think fully gay

I personally think he’s bi or pan like — just fluid I guess. Even tho it’s not my place to speculate cause you know, it’s a personal thing. However that’s just the vibe that I get from him and it’s honestly partly why I like that dude so much and find it very easy to relate to him. (just a small part of it though!!) But yeah, I don’t have many like idols I guess but he truly is one of the few that I do have — and has been since we were both kids still. I’ve just grown up watching him and listening to him. Anyways such a rant lmao. Love that guy.

I wanted to say yes but every-time his character is gay ( usually is ) and people start shipping him with whatever that ship is irl or not he always denies that there is any romance. Like in it when reddie is obviously gay but he says that his take is that they are just good friends. I dunno seems odd. Maybe he’s gay and doesn’t wanna admit it who knows
