What do you use a bullet journal for?
My personal favourite bullet journal ideas that I always reach for are these:

- A themed monthly spread. Pick any aesthetic (witchy, cottagecore, stars, ocean, winter...) and doodle little accents around your pages. Try to think of how you can incorporate elements from your aesthetic into your trackers, calendar pages, or your diary entries and get creative with it!
- A reading goal bookshelf. I always draw a bookshelf on one of my journal pages with the number of books I'd like to read that year (or that month, if you're a little book gremlin). I leave the spines of the books empty and uncoloured. Then, once I finish a book, I write the title on the spine and colour it in. It's a sweet little incentive to keep you reading more and finish filling the bookshelf!
- Small wins entries. If you're someone who struggles a lot with insecurities and confidence, this habit can really transform how you view yourself. You can do this daily or weekly or even as it happens, but choose anything you did that you are proud of (it could be baking a cake for the first time, or finally managing that yoga pose you were never able to do) and write it all down. Stay consistent with it, and it will act as physical proof of your achievements when your brain refuses to cooperate.
The bullet journal is designed to make organizing and improving your life easier, so the goal is to use the journal in whatever way seems the most productive to you. The vast majority of bullet journal users start off by using the journal as a calendar, with each month having its own page, followed by a weekly and daily breakdown. After that, the possibilities are endless! Popular prompts and pages include:

- Routine tracker: List out every routine you’re trying to keep and then use hash marks to count each time you complete the routine every month.
- Healthy habits: Kind of the reverse of a routine tracker, dedicate a page to whatever vices you’re trying to curb (procrastination, excess alcohol, etc.). Use the page to hold yourself accountable. You can even include positive affirmations or a reward goal!
- Job hunting: Thinking about a new career? Use a page to track openings you’re interested in, applications you’ve sent, and reminders to follow-up with companies you’re especially interested in.
- Daily gratitude: Make a page for each day of the month and jot down a few things that you’re thankful for so you stay positive and grounded.
- Meal planning: Set a page aside every week to map out what you’re going to eat. This is great if you’re trying to monitor your diet or budget your meal expenses.
- Exercise log: Stay fit by setting a page up to track your exercise habits. Map out cardio, upper body, core, and lower body workouts so that you don’t miss anything.
- Creative inspiration: If you’re the artistic type, inspiration can strike at any time! Dedicate a page to all of the random creative ideas you have throughout the day.
- Daily reflection: Divide a page into sections of 7 and write a paragraph each day of the week. Jot down how you’re feeling, what happened that day, and what’s on your mind.
What’s on your mind? Ask anything.
