Fun Facts About Black Butler

  • Sebastian Michaelis has a huge love for cats! Although Sebastian is often depicted as an emotionless, coldhearted demon, his soft spot for cats runs deep. He shows love to cats big and small, as seen when he was expressing how much he loved a giant tiger named Betty during the Circus Arc. He once even kept a whopping THIRTEEN cats hidden in his closet so Ciel wouldn’t find out. Can you blame him, though? Cats are some of the cutest little creatures in the world!
  • Ciel Phantomhive is fluent in French. Although he doesn’t speak the language much throughout the show, Ciel is shown to be fluent in French when he speaks it with Sebastian in the Book of Murder OVA.
