How do you braid your own hair?

How often should you cut your hair if you want it to grow?
Hair usually grows about half an inch every month, which is about six inches a year. You should cut only what's needed every 8 to 10 weeks. This helps you get rid of split ends and allows your hair to grow better. Seasonally, hair grows faster in spring and summer, so you might want to cut your hair a bit more during those times.
How do you style naturally curly hair?
Here are my top tips for styling curly hair:
  1. Find a Curly Hair Specialist: Look for a stylist who knows how to cut curly hair. They’ll give you a cut that really works with your curls.

  8. Regular Trims: Get regular trims from your curly hair pro to keep your curls looking their best.

Using a gentle clarifying shampoo once a week is a great first step, as it helps remove excess oils, product residue, and impurities without stripping your hair of its natural moisture. You could also consider a charcoal detox for your scalp.

For stubborn oil wax from product buildup, I recommend applying an oil (like coconut or olive oil) to help break it down before washing it out.
