   The CL emoji 🆑 stands for “clear.” Faraz says, “The 🆑 emoji means ‘clear’ or to delete something.” This emoji actually pays homage to old-school flip phones and calculators, which had a red “clear” button used for deleting or clearing content quickly. In its emoji form, the 🆑 symbol represents the same thing—the act of clearing, deleting, or cleansing something.
