If your Nintendo Wii Balance Board is no longer connected to your Wii Console, here is how you can synchronize them. You will need to sync the devices to play Wii Fit games.

Start the game.

Attempt to press both these buttons simultaneously or at least in quick succession.
Synchronization can happen when the flashing light on balance board is still happening. Once the light stops flashing and becomes solid blue, the devices are connected.

Press and hold the SYNC button for 15-20 seconds, then connect a new one. You must also re-connect all Wiimotes, as this unsyncs all devices.

My Wii Fit balance board came with the disc but it reads error when I try to use it. How do I sync these?

Open the small flap on your Nintendo Wii console, and you should see a red button. Hold that down as well as the long grey button on the balance board. The red button should reset the controllers and start searching for one which will register your Wii Fit Balance Board.
