It is always a good idea to start with a dish soap and water solution. If the stain is stubborn and remains after being soaked with dish soap and water for 30 minutes, you can move on to a stronger solution, like 1 cup of cool water mixed with 1 tablespoon of sodium thiosulfate. It is recommended to apply this sparingly with an eydropper. blot the stain with a clean dry cloth, and finish up by blotting it with with a wet cloth.

If the Betadine stain is on your skin, it can be removed with rubbing alcohol. If the stain is on clothing, first rinse the stain with cold water then blot hydrogen peroxide on the stain and rinse again to remove the hydrogen peroxide from the garment. Then repeat the same process with rubbing alcohol. If the stain is still present, you can make a solution with 1 quart of cold water, 1 tablespoon of ammonia, and 1 teaspoon of laundry detergent. Soak the garment in the solution for 30 minutes then wash it as usual.

First, start with soap and water and fully wash the stained area. You can then use an alcohol wipe or apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and wipe the stained skin until the stain is removed. Sometimes it takes a couple days for the iodine to be completely removed.
