    On the screen with turn-by-turn directions, you should see a button at the bottom labeled "Exit," "Stop," or "End Navigation." If this doesn't work, try exiting Google Maps and reloading it.

    You can follow the same steps. On a computer, when you click on a route, a list of directions will appear in the sidebar. On mobile, instead of clicking "start," scroll up on the bottom portion of the screen to see the directions.
