  • Question
How do I tighten a Lazy Susan that keeps turning around and around? It won't lock in place.
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
There is a plastic clasp at the top of the Lazy Susan. You will see a notch in it that should catch so that it holds the unit in place. Commonly, the older units will show the plastic to be worn. Simply replace the plastic piece, and it should realign and close properly.
  • Question
What shelf do I put the heavy items on, top or bottom?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Putting the heavy items like canned goods on top will increase the chances of the shelf breaking, so put heavy stuff not the bottom instead. The top shelf is better for boxes of pasta and bags of rice.
  • Question
How do I fix set screws that won't tighten?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
If the screws for your Lazy Susan don't tighten, the fasteners or the attaching hardware may be stripped. This means that damage has been done to the part of the hardware intended to grip the fastener (like the grooves of a screw). Replace stripped hardware and try again.
  • Question
How can I adjust a bottom corner cabinet lazy susan that has the cabinet door attached?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
If you have the one with a cam at the top of the center pole and a screw with a spring, then adjusting the screw on the side that has a spring on it will adjust how the outer surface of the lazy susan "door" aligns with the rest of the cabinets. Don't be afraid to tighten all the way or loosen as far as possible. From what I can tell, the screw will not come out. I turned the screw in and thought I counted the turns. Then backed it out again the same amount of turns and all of a sudden the door was more than an inch out of alignment. I had to back it out a lot further to reset the alignment.
  • Question
How do I fix a lazy Susan if the shelf adjuster fell and took the shelf with it? There is not enough room to adjust it and the flange is crooked.
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
If the shelf adjust fell and knocked a shelf out, damaging the shelf flange, you may need to completely disassemble the shelf, replace the damaged hardware (inexpensive flanges can be bought at most hardware stores), and then reinstall the Lazy Susan.
