It sucks when the girl you liked played you. She never got to know who you really are because she played you. And the worst part is that you can't stop thinking about her. What should you do to get back on your feet?

  1. Anything like playing her back or having a friend do it for you or any other revenge plots need to stop right now. The only way to get back at anyone is to be better than them, and the best you can be. And you're better then this: plotting revenge schemes like a soap opera teen. Ever noticed how those situations always end up wrong? And the person who started them gets the wrong end of the stick. Be better than that.
  2. Ignore her. People want attention the most when they're being ignored and you can see this is an advantage in various ways:
    • You get to be the bigger person in all of this so anyone on the fence on taking sides should now side with you. Being the better person also clears your conscience.
    • You get to rub on her face that you're better than her. You are the better person. She used you in some weird plot of hers but you're better than that. By rising above the situation, you rub on her face how great you are and what she's missing out on
    • You get to show everyone you moved on. This is good because only the people you choose will know you got hurt, everyone else will think she didn't affect you. How else could you move on so fast?
    • It allows you to actually move on. By ignoring her you find new things and people deserving of your attention and soon you'll genuinely move on and can stop faking.

  3. Yours, hers, new friends, it doesn't matter. Surround yourself with friends and all sorts of people how are aware of what a great person you are. It makes you feel better, gives you support and ultimately shows off that it's her loss.
  4. Even when she isn't around because those things have a way of getting around. Do your best to not talk about her behind her back or even to her face. Be better than that. You may need some stress or anger management techniques.
  5. Finally, the best revenge on Earth is being your absolute best. Take a little time off just for yourself and maybe with the help of a few wikiHows, you can become who you always wanted to be. Try a new sport, meditate, take care of your looks and style, do well in school, make new friends and throw awesome parties with them to show off how awesome you've become.

Tips

  • Stay calm, no matter how much you want to get mad and curse her out. Explain to a friend beforehand you may need a little help calming down and go outside or something. True friends will understand and help you.
  • A great way of distracting your mind and making new friends is joining a new club in school that speaks to your interests. If there isn't one, brainstorm ideas with friends and maybe ask your principal to start a new club (which happens to look great on resumes: having fun, making friends and having a better life? Can there be better revenge?)
