What are your thoughts on the recent social media showdown between Nicki Minaj and SZA?
What I think is unfortunate, whatever the beef is, is that these are two marginalized women who've done phenomenal in the space of music. I believe the beef they have overshadows what should be a celebration of what they've both accomplished.
To me, the beef sets the movement back for empowerment for these black artists, especially women in the hip-hop space who have fought so hard to be respected. I think that between women who are marginalized, they should be really banding together versus being at each other's throats.
