What’s the difference between a crush and love?
I’ve liked people romantically plenty of times but I still don’t know. What is the difference?

In my personal opinion, I don't believe you can truly fall in love with somebody without actually building a relationship with them. If you're just observing them from afar or you're in a different sort of relationship that isn’t romantic, then you really don't know that person fully in and out. People show up in their romantic relationships differently from how they show up with their friends, with their colleagues, or with their classmates. So, until you explore that side, you wouldn't know whether it's love or not.
Falling in love with somebody means loving them despite their flaws, and loving everything that they are. That is very different from a very strong crush, which is affinity and attraction, and the desire to be with somebody. With a crush, you don't yet know whether, when you get together, you’d be able to build a relationship or not.
