Should I ask my crush out?
Me and him met at the end of summer and became friends on the first day of school (August 13). We have a lot of classes together and hang out after school too. A lot of our mutual friends want us to be a couple but neither of us comment on it. We’re good friends and I don’t want to damage that, but I also don’t want to keep hiding my feelings. I can’t tell if he likes me the way I like him, or if he’s just really nice to me.

If you’ve already reached a stage where you have feelings for your friend, it means that it is going to occupy a lot of your time and headspace. Instead of playing games or trying to act differently with your friend, it’s better to directly communicate and share your feelings.
It doesn’t have to be all at once to avoid overwhelming your friend, since they might be on a completely different page. It can be very subtle. You could try asking them how they would feel if the two of you were to date or turn your relationship into a romantic one. If their response is positive or negative, then follow up by conveying your feelings, again respectfully and kindly. At the same time, being sure and having clarity of what you want from them is important.
