How can I get my childhood best friend to like me?

I recently caught back up with my old childhood friend and he has had a major glow up since I last saw him. The problem is, he has a girlfriend and, even though I only recently caught up with him, I have a HUGE crush on him. I joined the same ballroom dance group he goes to, and we talk all the time. We have both flirted with each other a lot, and he compliments my dresses and jewellery a lot. he complained about his girlfriend a lot, (They have been fighting a lot recently) and I want to know if I might have a chance with him. Please, any advice will help

Up date.
So, at my dance club, there was a dress swap for the girls, where you bring a dress and swap it for a different dress.
I was looking for a dress, when my crush came up and started looking at the dresses too. He was showing me a few dresses and said, and I quote, "Wow, this dress would look pretty on you."
He then went on to pick a dress out for me.
And compliment my hair.
And he kept telling me that all the dresses with like, no shoulder straps and a lot of diamonds on the front bit, would look pretty on me.
Im confused. Does he like me? is he just being nice?
Also, when I mentioned that I was single, he kinda smiled and said, "wait, you're single? wow. ok"
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!
please, I could use some advise

Hey everyone! I would really love some help figuring out how to tell if someone is flirting with me, especially when it comes to reading body language and facial cues. I feel like I completely misunderstand the difference between someone being friendly and someone actually trying to hit on me. I won’t bore you with the details but I’ve missed out on so many chances where I just thought the other person was being nice, and I’ve gotten into trouble a few times for mistaking someone being friendly as someone trying to hit on me. How can I reconnect with my ex after a painful breakup that happened just before our wedding?
My story: I was in a deep, emotional relationship that almost ended in marriage. We truly loved each other, but we had many ups and downs. I would often get angry when I felt misunderstood or disrespected, and she would pull away when she felt hurt or pressured. We both wanted love, but we didn’t know how to stay calm when emotions got intense. A week before our wedding, we had another painful argument that brought back all the old issues. I lost control, got angry, and took back the gifts I had given her. That was the final breakup. After that, she and her family treated me very harshly, and her father even threatened me. It’s been a while since then. I’ve done therapy and tried to understand my emotions better. But I still think about her — not out of obsession, but because I truly care. I believe what we had was real, even if it went wrong. My question: Is it ever possible to rebuild communication after such a painful breakup, when both sides have been deeply hurt and pride is involved? If yes, how can I approach her again in a respectful and emotionally mature way?

I am a Libra man trying to have a relationship with a Sagittarius woman. I knew her on Tinder, and we talked to each other for about 45 days. She demonstrate she was very interested since we have a lot of things things in common. Then we had a date in a city distant from our cities. On the second day I got very surprised when she said she didn't want go ahead, without any explanation, but asked me if I would like to continue keeping a contact with her. I said I didn't know since I don't want her as my friend but as my girlfriend. Since then, she send me at least two messages per day, one in the morning and one at night. What should I expect? Give up or try to make things work since I like her very, very much?

Should I go for it?
The person I have a crush on is kind of mean to my best friend. I try to ignore my crush, but he's just... AHH!!! When I first came to the school, he was rude to me like once, but I just took the test, and it says he's into me. I took another test and I'm into him!! But my BFF said he's mean to her! But I can't just ignore crushes! Please someone help!

I want to actually talk to my gym crush
Just a regular guy who goes to the gym here, and I've been crushing on someone who I always see when I'm working out. I know gym crushes are normal, but is it bad if I actually want to go up and talk to them? I'm not sure about the etiquette here and I don't want to sound like a creep, so how can I tell if it's a good idea to say something to them? Has anyone else gone through this and have some helpful advice?
