If your Amazon FireStick remote isn't working, you can easily reset it. If a factory reset doesn't work, you can enable Troubleshooting Mode to see exactly why your FireStick remote is unresponsive. Here's what to do if your FireStick remote is not working.

Fixing Unresponsive FireStick Remote

If your FireStick TV remote is not working, replace the batteries. If that doesn't work, reset your remote. Unplug your Fire TV. Press and hold the Left + Menu + Back buttons for 12 seconds. Release, wait 5 seconds, and then remove the batteries. Plug your FireStick in, replace the batteries, and then press the Home button.

    • Press the Rewind and Right buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.
    • Press the Menu button.
    • Press any button.
    • Look at the LED color.
    • Press and hold the Play/Pause button and the Up button at the same time for three seconds to deactivate Troubleshooting Mode.
