In Pokémon Emerald, the only way to evolve Feebas is to max out its beauty stat. You can do this by feeding it blue or indigo Pokéblocks, but before you start running to the Berry Blender, make sure to read the rest of this article! You can only use certain, high-quality Pokéblocks to evolve your Feebas. In this article, we explain exactly what you should do to make these Pokéblocks and evolve your Feebas. Read on to learn how.
Evolving Your Feebas
To evolve Feebas, you'll need 12 blue or indigo Pokéblocks that are level 23 or higher. You can make these Pokéblocks with Wiki, Kelpsy, Hondew, Cornn, or Pamtre Berries. Once you've made all 12 Pokéblocks, feed them to your Feebas, then level it up once to evolve it into Milotic.
Steps
Evolving Feebas
-
Beat the Elite Four (optional). This is only mandatory if you plan to make Pokéblocks out of Pamtre Berries. If you want to use other berries to evolve Feebas, you don't have to rush and beat the Elite Four just yet.
-
Have a Feebas on your team of Pokémon. If you don't have a Feebas yet, you'll either need to catch one or trade for one.
- Try to catch a Feebas with the Rash, Quiet, Modest, or Mild natures, as these Pokémon love dry Pokéblocks (which is what you must feed your Feebas to evolve it). Avoid Impish-, Careful-, or Adamant-natured Feebas, as they hate dry Pokéblocks.

Gather some berries that make blue or indigo Pokéblocks. The berries you should try to get are Wiki Berries, Kelpsy Berries, Hondew Berries, Cornn Berries, or Pamtre Berries. Try to get as many of these berries as possible. You can gather all the berries, or you can gather some and plant the rest to grow more. Blue or indigo Pokéblocks have a dry flavor.
- Wiki Berries: If your trainer ID ends in a 1 or 6, you can get Wiki Berries from a girl on Route 120.[1]
- Kelpsy Berries: Can be obtained from the Berry Master on Route 123 or in Sootopolis City. It can also be obtained by doing Dodrio Berry Picking with four players in the Mossdeep Game Corner.[2]
- Hondew Berries: Can be obtained from the Berry Master on Route 123 or in Sootopolis City. It can also be obtained by doing Dodrio Berry Picking with four players in the Mossdeep Game Corner.[3]
- Cornn Berries: Can be obtained from the Berry Master on Route 123 or in Sootopolis City. It can also be obtained by doing Dodrio Berry Picking with four players in the Mossdeep Game Corner.[4]
- Pamtre Berries: Can be obtained from the Berry Master's wife after beating the Elite Four by saying "Challenge Contest." It can also be obtained by doing Dodrio Berry Picking with four players in the Mossdeep Game Corner.[5]
-
Go to the Berry Blend and blend your berries into Pokéblocks. Be aware that you can't put the same Berry in as another player or NPC at the Berry Blend, or else you'll end up with a black Pokéblock.[6]
- Only keep blue or indigo Pokéblocks that are level 23 and over. Pokéblocks that are under level 23 won't raise your Feebas's beauty stat enough.
- Make 12 level 23 or higher dry Pokéblocks before moving on.
-
Feed the Pokéblocks to your Feebas. To evolve your Feebas to Milotic, you must raise its beauty stat to 170. However, since you can't see what number your Pokémon's stats are at, feeding 12 blue or indigo Pokéblocks that are level 23 or higher will ensure you can get a Milotic.
- The maximum amount of Pokéblocks a Pokémon can eat is 12. If you feed your Feebas lower-quality Pokéblocks, you run the risk of not being able to max out your Feebas's beauty stat before it refuses to eat any more.
-
Level up your Feebas by 1 level. You can do this by getting your Feebas some experience points or by feeding it a Rare Candy. Your Feebas will immediately evolve into a Milotic.[7]

QuestionHow do I evolve feebas in Pokemon Emerald?
Community AnswerIt's the exact same method. The two roms are pretty much the same except Emerald has Pokemon from all generations. -
QuestionWhere can I get a Feebas?
Community AnswerIt can only be found on six randomly generated tiles on Route 119 by fishing. Using a super rod for this helps a lot, as the only other Pokemon you can catch with a super rod there is Carvanha. -
QuestionCan I get the Pamtre Berry more than once in Pokemon Emerald?
Community AnswerYep. Just plant them into a spot of soft soil, and it will grow in about 3 days. Collect them and replant.
